Social Events
60th Anniversary dinnerThe social committee consists of society members who wish to organise occasional events on a non profit making basis. We are open to suggestion, and so far our activities have included rambles, theatre visits, quiz nights, a celebration dinner and group meals including the after show curry night.
Rambles are led by a variety of society members for those who are free during weekdays, and are of a not-too-challenging nature. These

Theatre visits are booked on an ad hoc basis when a production of interest is featured locally. We have our very own quiz masters and attempt to organise at least one event for the autumn period. The committee meets occasionally to consider activities and is chaired by Susan Antcliff.
