Welcome to the home page of St.Andrew's Operatic Society
We have been providing Gilbert and Sullivan operettas in Sunderland for over 65 years now, having great fun along the way and many life-long friendships have been formed.
Whilst we are all amateurs we aim to achieve very high standards, whilst remembering the need to enjoy ourselves. We rehearse all year round, with two short breaks, so there is always something going on including regular social events.
We are a friendly group who enjoy singing the wonderful G & S music and who are extremely proud of our very good reputation in the area.
